Rekha Gupta Government of Delhi has increased the dearness relief of retired employees of Delhi Vidyut Board by 2 percent, after which DR has increased from 53% to 55%. The new rates will be applicable from January 2025, in such a situation, arrears from January to April will also be available. 18,737 retired employees will benefit from this.
Energy Minister gave information
Energy Minister Ashish Sood said that this relief has been increased from 53% to 55% from January 1, 2025. This decision will provide much-needed financial support to pensioners, allowing them to better manage their household expenses. The Delhi government, led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, is committed to the welfare of its serving personnel as well as retired employees.
Uttarakhand Transport Corporation has also increased the dearness allowance of its officers and employees by four percent, after which the dearness allowance of all officers, employees and pensioners has increased from 46 to 50 percent. These rates of dearness allowance will be considered applicable from January 1, 2024, in such a situation, the arrears of allowance from January 2024 to April 2025 will be paid. The benefit of increased dearness allowance will be given in June along with the salary and pension of May.
