Wrong money was credited to the bank account. Everyone likes to see their bank balance in lakhs and crores. So that they can fulfil their dreams of buying a car and, house. Although even if you don’t earn, but suddenly crores of rupees come into your bank account, you can spend it. This money transaction happened by mistake by the bank employee. The bank later returns the money.

You must have read in the news many times that crores of rupees have been credited in the bank account of an account holder, due to which the amount appears to be in crores on checking the balance. If we assume that it came into your account, due to which you started spending, then what action can the bank take in this case? Due to which the problem can increase.

If someone mistakenly considers such money as your own and does shopping or starts spending, then it can increase your trouble. According to banking rules and Indian law, the money transferred by mistake does not belong to you. The bank will demand a refund. In such a situation, you will have to return the entire amount to them. Do not make the mistake of spending it, which can increase problems later.

If you withdraw the money from the bank and spend it or transfer it to someone quickly, then it becomes a crime under sections like ‘cheating’ and ‘criminal misappropriation’. You may have to return the money, may be jailed and may also be fined heavily.

If such a transaction takes place in someone’s account, then immediately inform the bank and register a complaint. Because such a money transfer is considered suspicious, if you suspect that there is fraud or money has come from cybercrime, then inform the cyber cell or the police. If you spend such money, you can get into big trouble.

The bank will transfer the money that you received by mistake to the correct account, so that you can change your banking password and check the security of the account. So that there is no such problem later.
