City Bus Service: There’s good news for the residents of Greater Noida. Now, there’s no need to book your own vehicle or any other vehicle to travel. You’ll see buses running on the roads. Yes, the Greater Noida Authority Board has made this special decision. It has approved the operation of 15 electric buses on four routes as a city bus service.

How much will it cost?

These electric buses will be operated by the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation. Initially, this service is being launched for six months. If it is found that passengers are sufficient and people are benefiting, new routes will be identified and the number of buses will be increased. Officials say that operating these city buses will cost Rs 1.80 crore over six months. This amount will be borne by the Greater Noida Authority. This will benefit people in their travel needs.

These are the four routes.

The first route will run from Char Murti Chowk via Surajpur T-Point and Pari Chowk to the Noida International Airport in Jewar. Four buses will operate on this route, making it easier to reach Jewar Airport. The second route will run from Char Murti Chowk via a 130-meter-wide road and the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) to the Noida Airport. Four buses will operate on this route as well.

The third route will run from the Makoda roundabout in the area to the NASA parking lot near the India Expo Mart in Knowledge Park and via Sector P-7 to Jewar Airport. Four buses will operate on this route as well. The fourth route will run from Industrial Sector 16 via Tilpata roundabout, Swarna Nagari, Yatharth Hospital, and Gautam Buddha University (GBU) to the Noida Airport. Three buses will operate on this route.
