Price of a gas cylinder in metros

People have breathed a sigh of relief as commercial gas cylinders have become cheaper for the fourth consecutive month. On the morning of July 1, commercial cylinders have become cheaper by Rs 58.5 in the capital Delhi, after which they can be purchased for Rs 1665. Apart from this, the price of a commercial cylinder in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, came down by Rs 57, after which it can be bought for Rs 1769.

In Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, the price of an LPG cylinder saw a decline of 58. After this, the gas cylinder can be bought for Rs 1616.50. In Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, the commercial cylinder will be sold for Rs 1823.50 after becoming cheaper by Rs 57.7. This decline is being seen as a big relief for the consumers. Crores of customers in the country will benefit from this.

No change in the price of the domestic cylinder

For information, let us tell you that while commercial LPG cylinder consumers got relief, on the other hand, the prices of domestic gas cylinders remained stable. This has shocked the expectations of common customers. Petroleum gas companies last changed the price of domestic cylinders on 8 April 2025. Since then, there has been constant stability in the price.

No change is like a big shock to the expectations of the customers. At present, the price of a domestic cylinder is being recorded at Rs 853 in Delhi, Rs 879 in Kolkata, Rs 852 in Mumbai, and Rs 868 in Chennai.
