Complete the e-KYC process

Farmers are required to complete the e-KYC process to ensure their identity. This process can be done by visiting the official website of PM Kisan pmkisan.gov.in, or by visiting the nearest Common Service Center (CSC). This requires Aadhaar number and registered mobile number. If this process is not completed, the payment of the next installment may be stopped.

How to complete Aadhaar-based OTP e-KYC

1. Head of the PM Kisan website using this URL: https://pmkisan.gov.in/

2. On the homepage, click on ‘e-KYC’

3. Enter your Aadhaar number and click on search.

4.Verify the one-time password (OTP) sent to the used Aadhaar-registered number.

Link aadhar card to bank account

It is necessary for farmers to link their bank account with Aadhaar card, so that payment can be ensured through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). For this, one has to go to the nearest bank branch and apply with Aadhaar card and passbook. If this linking is not done, then there will be a problem in getting the next installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.

Land verification is also necessary

Land verification is a mandatory process to receive the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN). If you have not done this verification till now, then you will not get the benefit of this installment. Land verification ensures that the benefits of the scheme reach only those farmers who have cultivable land. If there is any error or lack of update in the land records, the installment payment may stop.

 

If farmers complete these processes before the 20th installment arrives, then the 20th installment will be paid into the bank account without any interruption.
