Big news for central government employees. The central government has launched a new ‘Salary Account Package’ in collaboration with public sector banks. This single account will provide multiple modern banking facilities, affordable loans and insurance protection worth crores of rupees.
The Department of Financial Services (DFS) of the Ministry of Finance has launched this new service. According to the ministry, this initiative is to strengthen the financial security and social security of central government employees. This is in line with the government’s vision of ‘Unnat Bharat 2047’ and will also advance the national goal of ensuring insurance for all by 2047.

What is this Salary Account Package?
The main objective of this package is to provide complete banking, insurance and digital services to central government employees under one account. This package has been prepared in consultation with banks keeping in mind all categories of employees, including Group A, B and C, so as to ensure maximum coverage and equal benefits.
