Bank Holidays June: Banks will remain closed for 12 days, here is the list

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the complete list of bank holidays for June 2025. It includes a total of 12 holidays, including weekly holidays (Sunday, second and fourth Saturdays) and holidays in different states on the occasion of some festivals.

11 June (Wednesday) – Sant Guru Kabir Jayanti / Saga Dawa – Banks closed in Himachal Pradesh and Sikkim

14 June (Saturday) – Second Saturday – Banks closed across the country

15 June(Sunday) – Weekly Holiday

22 June(Sunday) – Weekly Holiday

27 June (Friday) – Rath Yatra / Kang – Banks closed in Odisha and Manipur

28 June (Saturday) – Fourth Saturday – Banks closed in all states

29 June(Sunday) – Weekly Holiday

30 June (Monday) – Remna Ni – Banks closed in Mizoram

Banks will remain closed but digital banking will remain operational

Nowadays, money transactions are done easily due to digital banking. In such a situation, even if the bank is closed, you can do your transactions. Digital tools like UPI, net banking, mobile apps and ATM work 24×7. Yes, if you have to do a big transaction, then plan in advance by looking at the date of the holiday.
