October 2: Banks will be closed across India on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti. This is a national holiday.
October 3 and 4: Banks in Sikkim will be closed for Durga Puja.
October 6: Banks in Tripura and West Bengal will be closed for Lakshmi Puja.
October 7: Banks will be closed in Karnataka, Odisha, and Himachal Pradesh for the observance of Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti and Kumar Purnima.
October 10: Banks in Himachal Pradesh will be closed for Karva Chauth.

October 31: Gujarat will observe a holiday in honour of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti.
