According to the list of holidays released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks are going to be closed for a total of 13 days across the country. These holidays include state-specific festivals, second and fourth Saturdays as well as all Sundays. When will the banks be closed in your state
The bank holidays in different states in July 2025 are as follows:
3 July:- Banks will be closed in Tripura on this day due to Kharchi Puja.

5 July:- Guru Hargobind Ji’s Birthday will be celebrated, due to which all private and government banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar.
14 July:- On this day, the festival of Behdienkhlam will be celebrated in Meghalaya. Due to this, all the banks in Meghalaya will remain closed.
16 July:- All banks will remain closed on this day due to Harela Festival in Uttarakhand.
17 July:- All private and government banks will remain closed on this day due to the death anniversary of U Tirot in Meghalaya.
19 July:- All banks will remain closed in Tripura on this day due to Ker Puja.
28 July:- The Drukpa Tse-Ji festival will be celebrated in Sikkim, due to which banks will remain closed here.
Apart from these holidays, banks are also closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month, and all Sundays, which are included in the total holidays of the month.
