Bank Holiday– The festival of Vishwakarma Puja is celebrated with great pomp in India every year on 17 September. Today this puja will be performed in many states in India. 21 September 2025– Since this day is Sunday, there will be no work in banks across the country.
22 September 2025– Navratri is starting from 22nd September due to which there will be a bank holiday in Jaipur.
23 September 2025– Banks will remain closed only in Jammu due to the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh.
27 September 2025– According to RBI’s bank holiday list, banks are closed on the second Saturday of every month. Therefore, September 27 will also be a bank holiday.
28 September 2025– Banks will remain closed across the country due to weekly holiday i.e. Sunday.
29 September 2025– This day is Saptami and Durga Puja, so only a few states will observe a bank holiday. These states include Guwahati, Kolkata, and Srinagar.
30 September 2025– This day is Durga Ashtami, due to which there will be no work in banks in some states of the country like Bhubaneswar, Tripura and Kolkata.
