However, banks will be closed only in Rajasthan; they will remain open in all other states. The Rajasthan government has declared a holiday on September 22, 2025, in observance of Navratri Sthapana. All government offices, banks, schools, colleges, and institutions will be closed on this day. On this day of Navratri, the installation of Goddess Durga and the Kalash Puja are performed.

September 29 (Monday): Banks will be closed in Agartala, Gangtok, and Kolkata on the occasion of Maha Saptami/Durga Puja.
September 30 (Tuesday): Maha Ashtami/Durga Ashtami in several cities, including Agartala, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Kolkata, Patna, and Ranchi.
