On Christmas Day, banks will be closed all over the country.
December 26 (Friday)
Nagaland, Meghalaya, and Mizoram will also have a holiday after Christmas, meaning banks in these states will be closed for four days in a row.
December 27 (Saturday)
It’s the fourth Saturday of the month, so all banks will be closed again.
December 28 (Sunday)
Banks will be closed nationwide due to the weekly holiday.
December 30 (Tuesday)
In Meghalaya, banks will be closed to honor the death anniversary of freedom fighter U Kyang Nangbah.
December 31 (Wednesday)
Banks will be closed in Mizoram and Manipur for New Year’s Eve and the Imoinu Iratpa festival. Even when banks are closed, UPI, mobile banking, internet banking, and ATM services will continue to operate as usual. Complete important tasks in advance to avoid last-minute hassles.
