Ayushman Bharat Scheme: Know where and how much treatment will be available under Ayushman card

Since Corona, various types of diseases have been increasing among people. The treatment of which is not within the reach of everyone in the society. In addition, the outbreak of influenza-like diseases has increased panic in the public mind about the cost of treatment and treatment. In such a situation, the Narendra Modi government has launched the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana to make treatment easier for everyone. Under this scheme, poor people will get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. However, let’s find out which diseases will be treated in which hospitals.

There is free treatment for these diseases

Under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, free treatment is provided in government hospitals of the country for corona, cancer, kidney, heart, dengue, chikungunya, malaria, dialysis, knee and hip replacement, infertility, cataract and other identified serious diseases.

How to find a hospital?

To get the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat scheme, first you have to go to the Ayushman Bharat website. Then you have to give detailed details about the disease. For example, you have to fill out an application form with the name of the disease, patient’s mobile number, address. Then a list will come, where the name and address of the hospital will be written.

Who can avail this benefit?

People living in shacks, landless, Scheduled Castes or Tribes, living in rural areas, transgenders and people living below the poverty line can avail the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Scheme. Only these people are eligible to apply for this scheme. Those in this category who have not yet come under this scheme can go to the nearest public service center.

Application Process

1) To apply for Ayushman Bharat Scheme, first log in to the official website mera.pmjay.gov.in. 2) Now register by entering your mobile number and captcha code. 3) An OTP will come to the registered mobile number, which you have to enter. 4) Now a new page will open. From there, select the state. 5) Now fill in the name, mobile number, ration card and other details in the application form. 6) On the right side of the application form, click the Family Member tab and add the names of all the beneficiaries. 7) Now submit it.

The government will issue the Ayushman card online based on the application form. You can download it and use it anywhere later.
