Aadhaar Mobile Number Update– Aadhaar is a 12-digit number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). How to book an online appointment for Aadhaar update:
1. First of all you have to visit the official website of UIDAI and select your preferred language.
W. . After that go to My Aadhaar , click on Get Aadhaar and select Book Appointment.
3. Then you have to select your city/location from the dropdown list and click on proceed to book the appointment.
4. Now you have to enter your registered mobile number and enter the captcha for verification and select generate OTP.
5. Then you have to enter the OTP received and select OTP Verify.
6. Now select the resident type and enter the details which include Aadhaar number, name on Aadhaar, date of birth, application verification type, state, city and Aadhaar service centre.
7. Once this is complete, select the information you want to update. For example, if you want to update your mobile number in the UIDAI database, select New Mobile Number.
8. Tap “Next” and select the date and time of the appointment. Select “Next.”
9. Now, verify the appointment details and select “Submit”.
10. Visit the Aadhaar Seva Kendra with your appointment confirmation and update your details.
Any update to Aadhaar will cost you ₹ 50. Once the update is complete, you’ll receive an acknowledgement slip with a URN (Update Request Number), which can be used to track the status of your request.
