However, various media reports suggest that this process may involve quick matching of PAN-linked tax records, family details associated with Aadhaar, and LPG consumer databases. What will happen after the subsidy is stopped?

If someone’s subsidy is stopped, they will still receive gas cylinders. However, the cylinders will have to be purchased at market price, and the subsidy amount will no longer be credited to their bank account.
