Toyota Innova Hycross
Toyota’s popular MPV Innova Hycross has received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. It offers several premium safety features such as 6 airbags, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitor, and Vehicle Stability Control. The model is also equipped with all-wheel disc brakes and front-rear parking sensors, ensuring maximum safety for both driver and passengers.
Tata Harrier EV
Tata Harrier EV stands out as one of the safest electric SUVs in the country. It scored a full 32 out of 32 in adult protection and 45 out of 49 in child safety. Key features include 7 airbags, Level 2 ADAS, a 540° Clear View Assist system, a 360° 3D camera, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), SOS call function, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
Maruti Suzuki Dzire
Maruti Suzuki Dzire has become India’s first sedan to get a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. Known for its popularity and strong sales over the years, Dzire now also leads in safety. Every variant of the Dzire comes with 6 airbags as standard. Other features include ESP+, Hill Hold Assist, 360° camera, ABS with EBD, and TPMS.
Kia Syros
Kia Syros, another new entrant in the safety-first segment, earned a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating. It scored 30.21 out of 32 for adult protection and 44.42 out of 49 in child safety. The car includes Level 2 ADAS, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), and over 20 advanced safety features that come as standard.
Skoda Kodiaq
Skoda Kodiaq also made the list of India’s safest cars for 2025. It secured 30.88 points in adult safety and 45 points for child protection in the Bharat NCAP test. The SUV is packed with safety features including 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control, Rollover Protection, Hill-Hold Control, and Multi-Collision Braking among 25 other advanced safety technologies.
