UP Weather Update:- Intermittent rain continues in Uttar Pradesh. However, there are many districts in UP where people are facing the humid heat. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for the next six days. According to the Meteorological Department, an orange alert has been issued on Monday in view of heavy rains in the areas of Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, and Moradabad. The Meteorological Department estimates that heavy rains can be seen in eastern and western UP.

According to the Meteorological Centre, a weather-related orange alert has been issued on Monday, July 21. Showers may occur at some places in eastern UP, while an alert has been issued for heavy rain in the northern area of western UP. Apart from this, raindrops may fall along with thunder of clouds at some places.

The IMD estimates that on July 21, heavy rain is expected in many areas of Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Hapur, Amroha, Moradabad, and Rampur districts. Apart from this, rain is being reported in many districts, including Varanasi, Rae Bareli, Lucknow, Barabanki, Mirzapur, and Sonbhadra.
Rain was observed on July 24 in some areas of both the Western and Eastern UP divisions. Apart from this, there may be drizzle with lightning in the districts of both Eastern and Western UP divisions.
Rain alert in these states
According to the IMD, an alert has been issued regarding rainfall in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of rain in Telangana, Karnataka and Maharashtra. A rain warning has also been issued in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Puducherry and Tripura.
