UP Weather Forecast:- The period of rain continues across the country. At the same time, the humid heat in Delhi is making life miserable for the people. An alert has been issued regarding heavy rainfall in most districts of UP. In the first week of July, heavy monsoon rains are being seen across the country. Flood-like conditions also persist in some districts.
The Meteorological Department has predicted moderate to heavy rains from today till July 22. Torrential rains have been predicted in some parts. Relief from humidity and heat is expected from this period of rain.
An alert has been issued regarding heavy rains in many districts of western UP, including Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Bijnor and Moradabad from the morning of July 21 to the morning of July 22. At the same time, there is a possibility of lightning with thunder in almost all parts of the state, including large areas of eastern, central and western UP.
Heavy rain warning in western UP
Heavy rain is expected in many districts located on the western end of the state. This mainly includes Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Moradabad, Baghpat, Meerut, Amroha and Rampur, Bareilly and their surrounding areas. Continuous rain in these areas can cause waterlogging in low-lying areas.
Thunderstorm threat
There is also a possibility of lightning along with thunder in a large part of Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert in many districts, including Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur.
The Meteorological Department has forecast that Agra will remain partly cloudy on Sunday. There may also be showers with thunder. Apart from this, there will be little to no change in the maximum and minimum temperatures.
