This new Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk 8.5 will be launched in India under CBU (Completely Built Unit), that is, it will come completely assembled abroad. The company has already booked 150 units for its first consignment, which shows its growing popularity.

If we talk about its engine, then the Golf GTI comes with its 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which produces 261 BHP of power and 370 Nm of torque. Along with this, it has a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which makes gear shifting very smooth and fast.
According to Volkswagen, this car achieves a speed of 0-100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds and its top speed can reach 250 km/h. These figures are proof that this car is no less than a rocket on the roads.
