VinFast Booking: Vietnam’s global electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has entered the Indian market with a resounding bang by inaugurating its first showroom in Surat, Gujarat. With premium electric SUVs VF6 and VF7 being showcased, the company begins a strong retail footprint in India.
First Showroom in Surat
The first VinFast showroom has been inaugurated in Piplod, Surat, with an area of 3,000 square feet. The customers at this state-of-the-art outlet will be treated to experiential product demonstrations, convenient booking facilities, and global-standard after-sales services. The showroom is marketed by Chandan Car, a household name in the automobile retail industry.
Luxury Electric SUVs on Display
VinFast has unveiled two high-end electric SUVs, VF6 and VF7, which reflect the company’s state-of-the-art technology, style, and performance. Pre-bookings for the vehicles started on 15 July 2025, marking the brand’s preparedness to launch its high-end EVs to Indian consumers.
Price and Booking Details
Customers can pre-book VinFast cars with a fully refundable deposit of ₹21,000. This can either be done by physically visiting the showroom or directly at the official VinFastAuto.in website.
Made in India EVs
VinFast has assured that it will produce its EVs locally in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, where it is establishing a dedicated electric vehicle facility. This is going to support local production and position India as a key manufacturing location for the company.
Establishing EV Ecosystem and Battery Recycling
To strengthen its presence, VinFast is collaborating with brands like myTVS, RoadGrid, and Global Assure for creating a charging and after-sales network. The company has also partnered with BatX Energies to promote battery recycling, focusing on building a sustainable EV future in India.
What the Company Says
VinFast Asia CEO Mr. Pham Sanh Chau said the Surat showroom is their firm commitment to India. He emphasized that the company will not only sell cars but also provide a trustworthy and premium ownership experience.
Future Plans
VinFast hopes to open 35 dealerships in 27 Indian cities by the end of 2025, bolstering its network and competing with other players in the Indian EV segment.
