TVS Jupiter crosses 97000 sales, buyers ditch Apache and Sport, grabs number one rank

TVS Jupiter: TVS Motors has once again created ripples in India’s two-wheeler segment with its staggering May 2025 sales figures. TVS Jupiter proved to be the company’s best-selling model, surpassing other favorites such as Apache, Raider, and Sport. Jupiter was able to impress 97,606 new buyers last month, securing a whopping 31.70 percent market share. Despite a 4.86 percent decline year-on-year, Jupiter comfortably topped the TVS products’ list.

TVS Apache Sales in May 2025

After Jupiter, TVS Apache held the second position on the list. It recorded a total of 49,099 units sold during the month of May, registering a year-on-year growth rate of 7.60 percent. The excellent performance of Apache indicates that its sporty appearance and dependable engineering continue to draw a substantial client base.

TVS XL and Raider Sales Update

TVS XL stood at third spot with 37,264 units sold during the last month, despite its year-over-year sales decreased by 3.83 percent. TVS Raider, a scooter that is famed for youthful styling and functions, stood in fourth place, selling 35,401 units. Raider experienced a greater decline in sales by 17.73 percent on a year-over-year basis, indicating a potential shift in customer demand for scooters such as Jupiter.

TVS iQube and NTorq Sales

Coming fifth, the TVS iQube registered consistent demand with 27,642 units sold in May, registering a miniscule 0.14 percent increase year-on-year. NTorq coming sixth sold 25,205 units over the same period with a nominal annual decline of 0.70 percent.

TVS Sport and Other Models

TVS Sport stood at number seven, selling 11,822 units in May even as sales declined by 8.32 percent year-on-year. TVS Radeon held the eighth position with 10,315 units sold, and TVS Zest took the ninth spot, selling 8,069 units with a marginal growth of 0.10 percent.

TVS Ronin Records Good Growth

The biggest surprise was TVS Ronin, which recorded a whopping 179.27 percent growth per year. Ronin sold 4,770 units in May, demonstrating that its new design and features drew many new clients.

TVS Star City and Apache 310 Performance

Lower on the list, the TVS Star City registered in the eleventh position with 1,886 units. The TVS Apache 310, being a premium sports bike, registered in the twelfth position with a mere 208 units sold, registering a decline of 25.45 percent from last year.

Total Two-Wheeler Sales in May 2025

In total, TVS Motors sold 3,09,287 two-wheelers during the previous month. This robust number reflects how the brand maintains winning the confidence of Indian consumers by offering a combination of scooters, motorcycles, and mopeds. TVS Jupiter remains the company’s sales pillar, winning customers over its utility features and high trust quotient.
