Sensing the pulse of the Indian market, TVS Motor Company has given its popular electric scooter, the iQube S, a major update. This time, the main attraction is its battery. The company has equipped it with a massive 4.7kWh battery pack, which is a boon for those with long daily commutes.

While the scooter previously offered a range of 145 km, it can now cover a distance of 175 km (IDC certified). This means you’ll be free from the hassle of frequent charging and can enjoy long rides without worrying about it. Despite the large battery, its charging technology has been kept simple so it can be easily charged from a household socket.

Powerful Performance

While the battery has grown, TVS has kept its reliable engine, the hub-mounted electric motor, unchanged. This motor generates a peak power of 4.4kW, giving the scooter excellent agility on the roads. The scooter accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, which is sufficient for overtaking in city traffic.

Its top speed is 82 km/h, perfect for urban roads. The larger battery has slightly increased its overall weight to 128.8 kg, but it still gives the scooter a strong grip on the road even at high speeds.
