Top Adventure Bikes in India 2025 : Adventure biking is not only riding on power these days; smart performance, comfort during an all-day ride and the savings at the pump are also, in increasing ways, part of the definition of adventure. Indians in 2025 have more options in adventure bikes than ever before. There is something for everyone – classic petrol purists, those venturing into the electric world, or even looking for an indeterminate balance between the two as you look at hybrid. Let us check out some top adventure bikes in 2025 from India across petrol, electric, and hybrid segments and see how they stack up against one another.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450
The all-new Himalayan 450 stands completely on its own in the segment. It has been built for serious touring with a rugged frame and USD forks, as well as a powerful 452cc liquid-cooled engine. This engine has excellent low-end torque for off-road trails as well as on-highway rides. It’s around ₹2.85 lakh (ex-showroom) and isn’t the most efficient in terms of fuel use, but it has unmatched power and comfort.
KTM 390 Adventure X
The 390 Adventure stands out for its sporty ride and great suspension, making it a good bet for aggressive adventure riders. It packs a powerful 373cc engine with ride-by-wire throttle, cornering ABS, and great value under ₹3.4 lakh.
Ultraviolette F77 Recon (with touring kit)
Ultraviolette is providing an adventure touring kit with the F77 Recon in 2025, though it can’t be termed as an ADV in itself. With a range exceeding 300 km, it’s ahead in futuristic design and has great torque delivery. Charging time is an issue, while off-road capabilities are not as good as petrol bikes but it’s one strong city-to-highway tourer with zero emissions.
Matter EV ADV (Future Release)
Matter has been working on an electric adventure bike specific to India and is expected to be launched by the end of 2025. It will focus on long range with connected features along with hybrid-ready components. Stay tuned.
Hybrid Adventure Option: The Future?
Most are not entirely common, but Honda is ready to dish out a hybrid ADV on their global X-ADV platform. If true, that could offer the best of both worlds: petrol backup with electric assist. Of course, it would still be on the pricey side and few-and-far-between in the early rollout.
