Maruti Suzuki Eeco: The Indian car market is filled with all sorts of cars, but in terms of pricing and space for seating, Maruti Suzuki Eeco is the best. The nation’s cheapest 7-seater, it has been consistently drawing heavy demand from family groups and business operators alike. As many as 10,000 plus customers picked up Eeco in August 2025 alone, testifying to its popularity in the low-cost segment.

Sales Performance in August

Maruti Suzuki Eeco is still one of the most reliable names in the utility van segment. Last month in August 2025, it had 10,785 new customers, indicating that customers are still reposing faith in this model. Interestingly enough, in the same month of last year, the figure was 10,985 units, indicating that demand has been consistent despite ups and downs in the market.

Engine and Powertrain

Maruti Suzuki Eeco comes equipped with a 1.2-litre K-series dual-jet VVT petrol engine. This unit produces 18.76bhp of power and delivers a peak torque of 104Nm, making it capable of handling both city and highway needs. On the efficiency front, the Eeco offers 19.71 kmpl in petrol mode and an impressive 26.78 km/kg when driven on CNG, giving buyers a strong reason to choose it for daily use.

Important Features of Eeco

The Eeco strikes a balance between utility and requisite safety and comfort features. It comes equipped with reclining front seats, double airbags, and sophisticated braking assistance with ABS and EBD. Functional features such as sliding doors, reverse parking sensors, and a digital instrument panel make it convenient for use by families and companies alike. The vehicle also comes with a new steering wheel and heater, improving the driving experience. There are five colour schemes to select from and 13 variants to suit their needs.

Price Range

One of the most significant reasons for the success of the Eeco is its price. With an ex-showroom cost ranging from ₹5.70 lakh and reaching up to ₹6.96 lakh for the highest variant, it gives unmatchable value in the 7-seater segment. The price makes it a favorite for people looking for maximum space without going over the budget.
