Design
Tata Sierra first showed its magic to the world as a concept at the Auto Expo 2020. Now, even in the production version, this SUV remains as much as its concept. The Sierra EV is built on Tata’s new Acti.ev platform, on which vehicles like the Punch EV and Curve EV are also based.

Range, Battery and Power
The Sierra EV will have two battery options โ 65kWh and 75kWh LFP battery packs. These batteries are also used in the new Harrier EV.
- 65kWh battery (single motor, RWD) โ 627km MIDC range
- 75kWh battery (dual motor, AWD/QWD) โ 622km MIDC range
However, the actual range of the Sierra EV may be slightly different from that of the Harrier EV. It may also get an all-wheel drive (AWD) or quad wheel drive (QWD) system, which will improve off-roading and performance.

Sierra Petrol and Diesel
The ICE version (petrol/diesel) to be launched in 2026 will directly compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Grand Vitara. It will get three engines

- 1.5L turbo petrol โ 170PS/280Nm (best performance)

Price
If we talk about the price, Tata has not shared the pricing details yet, but the EV version can be launched between โน 20-25 lakh. At the same time, petrol/diesel versions will come in the range of โน 15-20 lakh.
