Tata Sumo

Let me tell you that there are discussions in the auto industry that Tata Motors may soon relaunch its old SUV Sumo with a new, modern look and technology. It is being said that this new SUV may knock in the market in 2025. According to reports, the company can bring it with modern boxy design, 7+ seater configuration, and diesel engine options.

Discussions of its possible design are also underway on several social media platforms and auto websites, which will give more urban touch while retaining the rugged style of the old Sumo. It can also be given a choice of 4×4 drivetrain, so that this car performs well in off-roading and hill area.

Engine

If this news turns out to be true, Tata Sumo may see the company’s BS6-compliant diesel engine in 2025. It is estimated that it will either have a detuned version of 2.0L Kryotec engine (which is found in Harrier and Safari) or an updated 2.2L Dicor engine.

This engine can provide great performance in both city and highway driving with better mileage and power. At the same time, the possibility of its manual and automatic transmission options is also being raised, allowing it to maintain the traditional SUV driving feel.
