New Delhi: Suzuki has launched its two powerful scooters, the Burgman and Avenis, in an updated avatar for the Indian market. The company claims that these scooters now comply with the latest emission norms. The price of these two-wheelers is set within the ₹1 lakh range, making them an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers. The updated Suzuki Burgman series is priced at ₹95,800, while the Suzuki Avenis has been launched at ₹93,200.
What’s New in Suzuki Avenis?
The Suzuki Avenis has been upgraded to comply with the OBD-2B emission norms, ensuring better environmental efficiency. However, apart from the emission upgrade, there are no mechanical changes in the scooter. The Avenis is powered by a 124cc engine, producing 8.7 hp of power and 10 Nm of torque.
Suzuki offers the Avenis in two variants – Standard and Special Edition. The Standard model comes in a dual-tone color scheme with four different color options. Meanwhile, the Special Edition is available in Black and Silver shades, giving it a premium look.
