Taycan 4S: Luxury and power blend again as Porsche launches the new version of its best-selling Taycan 4S. The newly introduced Black Edition comes with new cosmetic overhauls and a high-end driving experience. The vehicle is injecting a sportier spirit into electric mobility and is now on sale for Indian customers.

Taycan 4S Black Edition Price and Range

The Black Edition Taycan 4S retails at ₹2.07 crore (ex-showroom), a ₹11 lakh premium over the regular model. It features the same 105kWh (97kWh net) battery and dual motor configuration. This combination produces a combined output of 598hp and 710Nm. On a full tank, the vehicle provides an estimated WLTP range of 668km. It can achieve the 0 to 100 km/h mark in only 18 minutes with the help of a 320kW DC fast charger.

What’s New in Design and Look

This edition is unique in having a blacked-out theme. High-gloss black finishing has been applied by Porsche to the front apron, side skirts, rear diffuser, mirror caps, badges, and lettering. The 21-inch Aero Design alloy wheels are also glossy black, and the headlamps have smoked-out effect. It even sports white Porsche lettering on puddle lamps when painted in white exterior color.

Colour Options and Customization

The Black Edition is available with 13 body colors as standard fare such as Black, White, Jet Black Metallic, Ice Grey Metallic, Volcano Grey, Dolomite Silver, Gentian Blue, Carmine Red, Provence, Neptune Blue, Frozenberry, Frozen Blue, and Purple Sky Metallic. For their special color options, the customers might have to shell out additional amounts between ₹5.11 lakh and ₹32.18 lakh.

Interior and Features

The cabin design is identical to the regular Taycan 4S. It features a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, ADAS suite, 14-way power adjustable front seats, four-zone climate control, and a 710W 14-speaker Bose audio system. Two Race-Tex (Alcantara/leatherette) trims in black, and two monotone leather trims, one of which is black, are the upholstery options. All these features come together to create a sporty and luxurious ambiance.
