Nissan’s new car – The demand for 7-seater vehicles is constantly increasing in the Indian car market. The need for large families, more space and long drives has always kept this segment at the top. Until now, cars like Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Kia Carens and Toyota Innova Crysta dominated this race.
But now the game is about to change. Nissan is going to launch its first 7-seater MPV Nissan Gravit in the Indian market, whose starting price can be less than ₹6 lakh. This car, which will be launched on February 17, will directly target those customers who want a big family car in a low budget.

Nissan Gravite
Let me tell you that Nissan Gravite is not just a new car, but it is a big part of Nissan’s new product strategy for the Indian market. Till now Nissan’s portfolio had compact SUVs like the Nissan Magnite, but the company had no presence in the 7-seater segment.
Gravite is going to fill this empty space. It will be a B-segment 7-seater MPV, designed on the Renault Triber platform. That is, a low price, lightweight platform and family-friendly design will be its biggest weapon.

Platform and Price
Nissan Gravite is built on Renault-Nissan’s CMF-A platform. This is the same platform on which the Renault Triber is built. The specialty of this platform is more practicality at a lower cost.
The initial EX-showroom price of the Triber is ₹5.76 lakhs, and Gravite is also expected to be around this. This is why it is being considered one of the cheapest 7-seater cars in India. For low-budget family buyers, it will be no less than a jackpot.

Design
Talk of Design, Gravite shares with its underpinnings Triber, but Nissan has tried to give it a completely different identity in terms of design. The previously revealed design sketch and official teaser clearly show that Gravite will look more bold and modern.
Sharp headlight cluster with horizontal LED DRLs will be found in the front. Gravite lettering on chrome slats and bonnet on wide grills gives it a premium touch. At the rear is the split tail-lamp design, which is connected to the horizontal insert at the tailgate.

Engine
Now talk about its engine, Nissan Gravite will get the same 1.0-liter petrol engine, which is also seen in Triber. This engine fits perfectly for everyday driving and family use.
Both manual and AMT gearbox options will be provided with the engine. That is, AMT will become a comfortable option for city runners and traffic fighters, while there will be no shortage for those who like manual drives.

Features and Cabin
Let me tell you that Nissan Gravite is designed as a family car, so special attention has been paid to the practicality in the cabin. It is expected to provide a modular seating layout, allowing space to be adjusted according to need.
