Yezdi has launched the updated Roadster 2025 model in India with major changes to design, engine, and features. The new version offers a more premium look, better build quality, and upgraded performance. Priced at ₹2.10 lakh ex-showroom, it is set to take on Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and Harley-Davidson X440 in the modern-retro motorcycle segment.
New Design and Features
The 2025 Yezdi Roadster gets fresh styling with new colour options that enhance its road presence. It now comes equipped with LED headlamps, LED tail-lights, and redesigned indicators, giving it a sharper and more modern appeal. The overall build quality has been improved, making it feel more solid and refined compared to the previous model.
Upgraded Engine and Performance
Powering the bike is the updated Alpha2 engine, borrowed from the Yezdi Adventure but tuned for the Roadster. It produces 29 bhp and 29.8 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Internal engine components have been upgraded for smoother performance. The bike features telescopic forks at the front and preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, it comes with disc brakes on both wheels and dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
Competition in the Market
With its price and specifications, the Yezdi Roadster 2025 will compete directly with Royal Enfield Meteor 350, priced at ₹2.08 lakh ex-showroom, and Honda CB 350, starting at ₹2 lakh ex-showroom. It will also challenge Harley-Davidson X440, which comes at ₹2.40 lakh ex-showroom. The updated Roadster aims to attract riders who want a stylish, powerful, and comfortable cruiser without going too high on budget.
