Suzuki has given its famous off-road SUV Jimny a new update in Japan, and this time it is not limited to just looks. Now the features the company has added to it are making it safer, advanced and smarter than before. The new Suzuki Jimny 3-door is now going to launch with Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), making it the most high-tech off-roader in its segment. So let’s know its details.

Let me tell you that Suzuki has updated both the 3-door Jimny and Jimny Sierra verses, which will be available for sale in Japan from November 4. Although the exterior design has not been much changed, its bumpers have been slightly redesigned so that it gets a fresh and modern touch.
But the real magic is hidden inside and its features. Now a Level 2 ADAS system has been provided in Jimny, which makes driving not only easy but also extremely safe. Many new safety features have been added to it.
Collision Damage Mitigation Braking – If the driver accidentally misses a vehicle ahead, the system automatically applies the brakes.
Lane Departure Prevention – This system alerts if the vehicle begins to deviate from its lane.
Adaptive Cruise Control – During long journeys, the vehicle automatically maintains a safe distance from the vehicle in front.
Rearward False Start Prevention – This system takes immediate action in the event of sudden acceleration from the rear.
Jimny sold in India
Let me tell you that Maruti Suzuki Jimny is currently available in India in just 5-door version, which was launched in 2023. This SUV gained considerable popularity due to its powerful 4×4 system. But one drawback that is often discussed is the absence of the ADAS feature.
The same interesting thing is that the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Victorious became the brand’s first such car in India with ADAS features. Now that Suzuki has given this safety technology to Jimny in Japan, Jimny, sold in India, will also get this update.
