MG ZS EV: MG Motor has presented its customers with a huge reason to rejoice. Completing six years in India, MG Motor has reduced prices of its 2025 MG ZS EV up to ₹4.44 lakh. After this price reduction, the new base price is ₹16.75 lakh (ex-showroom), rising to ₹20.50 lakh for the top variants. The move is expected to shake up the electric SUV segment and challenge competitors like Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, and Hyundai Creta EV.

Now More Affordable Than Rivals

With the recent price reduction, the ZS EV beats the Tata Curvv EV and Mahindra BE 6 in price, as well as MG’s own Windsor Pro (Fixed Battery model). It is an attractive choice for a premium, high-tech electric SUV in the budget-friendly segment. The price hasn’t cut into MG’s compromises, though—ZS EV still comes with a solid package full of features and tech.

Performance and Range

The 2025 ZS EV is equipped with a 50.3 kWh battery, which offers an ARAI-certified range of 461 km on a full charge. Under the bonnet, it has a robust electric motor that churns out 174 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. The outcome is a silky, responsive drive that handles both in-city daily drives and long road trips with equal ease.

Sales and Market Response

ZS EV has been MG’s second electric car in India. In the last six months, its average monthly sales were of about 600 units. Windsor EV’s high demand, though, has eclipsed ZS EV’s sales. Ever since September 2024, Windsor EV has sold more than 27,000 units at an average of 3,450 units every month. MG is now counting on the new pricing of the ZS EV to pick up again.

Loaded with Features

ZS EV not only surprises with range and performance—it introduces a lot of premium features. It features Level-2 ADAS, six airbags, and a 360-degree camera to make safety its top priority. In the tech department, there’s a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and a PM 2.5 air purifier—all contributing to a high-end cabin experience.
