The most talked-about model will be the Maruti Suzuki Fronx Flex-Fuel E85, which will not only improve performance but also provide environmental relief. Maruti Suzuki Fronx Flex-Fuel E85
Suzuki is going to deliver an updated 1.2-liter petrol engine to this new Fronx Flex-Fuel car, which will resemble the Wagon R Flex-Fuel concept. Although the company has not yet released the exact engine specifications, it is so certain that this engine will be ready to run on the E85 Fuel i.e. 85% Ethanol and 15% Petrol.
The biggest advantage of the E85 engine is that it reduces toxic gases like benzene, keeping the air cleaner. This is a major step towards Suzuki’s carbon neutrality, as the company is also working on other eco-friendly technologies such as Hydrogen and Compressed Bio-Methane Gas.
Design
Images shared online reveal that the Fronx Flex-Fuel E85 has received some stylistic changes. Sporty decals adorn its body, including bold FLEX-FUEL branding on the bonnet, fenders, and doors.
The rest of the design remains the same as the current Fronx. The wave grille design, sharp LED DRLs, connected tail lamps, and geometric alloy wheels already give it a sporty look. It’s likely that the production version will also feature some exclusive flex-fuel badges.
Engine
Currently sold in India, Maruti Suzuki Fronx is sold through Nexa outlets. It gets two engine options, the first being a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which gives 89.73 PS power and 113 Nm torque. This engine comes with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox.
The engine is also available in the CNG version, which produces 77.5 PS power and 98.5 Nm torque, and has only 5-speed manual transmission. The second engine is the 1.0-liter turbo petrol, which generates 100.06 PS power and 147.6 Nm torque. It offers a choice of both 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission (6AT).
JMS 2025
In Japan Mobility Show(JMS) 2025, Suzuki is going to grab everyone’s attention not only from its Fronx Flex-Fuel E85, but also from many new and exciting futuristic models and electric concepts. The company will introduce a number of special vehicles to showcase its next round of green technology, including the Vision e-Sky BEV, which will be the next-generation Wagon R EV, and the e-Every Concept, a compact mini-commercial vehicle , Which may prove to be perfect for delivery in cities.
