Mahindra XUV 3XO: Mahindra’s lowest-priced sub-compact SUV, XUV 3XO, is making waves all over India. With its sporty looks and loaded-up cabin, the SUV has turned out to be a first preference for many buyers. Despite the sales decline in June 2025, the vehicle remains among the best sellers in its segment. Its value-for-money factor continues to distinguish it from competitors such as the Nexon, Brezza, and Venue.
Price and June Sales
In June 2025, Mahindra retailed 7,089 units of the XUV 3XO. That was about 17% less than June 2024 when 8,500 units were retailed. Still, it remained one of the best-selling sub-compact SUVs. The base ex-showroom price is ₹7.99 lakh, while the range-topping variant reaches ₹15.80 lakh. RevX trims begin at ₹8.94 lakh and reach ₹12.99 lakh.
Engine Options
Mahindra has three engine options for the XUV 3XO. They are a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.2-litre turbo petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel. Buyers also have the option of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. This enables the SUV to be used for city traffic as well as highway drives.
Fuel Efficiency
Mileage is a strong point of this SUV. The diesel automatic variant offers the highest mileage of 21.2 kmpl. The diesel manual delivers 20.6 kmpl. Petrol variants also perform well — with 19.34 kmpl for manual and 18.06 kmpl for automatic. These numbers make it an efficient pick in this price segment.
Additional Features
XUV 3XO fits in a lot of features that are not common in this segment. It gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, all-digital instrument cluster, dual-climate control, wireless charging, ambient light, and ventilated front seats. Rear AC vents, panoramic sunroof, cruise control, and height-adjustable driver seat also add comfort.
Safety Features
Safety is another huge plus point here. Mahindra XUV 3XO has been rated 5-star in BNCAP crash tests. It comes with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and Level-2 ADAS. The safety features like adaptive cruise control, AEB, lane keep assist, and blind spot monitor provide greater protection. It also comes with all-wheel disc brakes, hill hold, hill descent control, traction control, and ISOFIX mounts for child seats
