Kia EV9 Spotted Testing : Electric cars have become the future of mobility, and Kia is about to shake up the Indian market once again. The most awaited recent shoot of the new Kia flagship electric SUV EV9 is concluded testing in its Indian roads. This has sent ripples of intrigue among car enthusiasts. Dramatic styling, high-tech equipment, and a terrific electric propulsion are expected to bring something truly new and powerful into the premium SUV segment in India.
Bold Design and Road Presence
The redesign of the new generation of Kia models goes along with a futuristic look, where boxy is used as a form of reference. It is big and muscular, truly resembling an SUV but with a more contemporary electric twist. Styling features include pixel-shaped LED DRLs, flat surfaces and very large wheels, which all gives this car an attackable appeal. This car is expected to cater to a large cabin and three rows of seating making it perfect for large families or space and comfort lovers.

Tech Loaded Cabin
We can expect a simplistic yet feature-laden layout inside the EV9. Internationally, the car comes with dual 12.3-inch screens: one for the instrument cluster and the second for infotainment. A third display is for climate control. The car is expected to come with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, a premium sound system, and connected car tech. This will make the EV9 one of the most luxurious and high-tech electric SUVs in India.
Power and Range
Globally, the EV9 comes with both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options. The top-end model is likely to produce approximately 380 bhp and about 500 N. m of torque. It is confirmed that the offer of a 99.8 kWh battery will give a claimed range of 541 km (WLTP), which means that the vehicle is suitable for long-termed highway journeys with less frequent charging. It will support ultra-fast charging, from 10% to 80% in less than 30 minutes.

Expected Price and Date of Launch
The Kia EV9 will probably launch sometime in India in 2025, perhaps as a CBU (fully built unit) in its initial phase. The price may be around ₹80 to 90 lakh to target the luxury EV customers, seeking size, features, and performance.
The newly asserted Kia EV9 is sure to be a game-changer in the segment of premium electric SUVs in India, merging futuristic design with luxury and practicality for long ranges.
