Keeway RR 300: An all-new sports bike has landed in India, targeting right at the heart of the cost-conscious motorcyclist. With a meaty look, aggressive design, and a price that beats top contenders, this model will fire up the midweight sports category without digging a hole in your pocket.

Keeway RR 300 Features

Keeway has launched its new bike, RR 300, in India at a price of ₹1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is ₹77,000 less expensive than the best-selling TVS Apache RR 310, which retails for ₹2.77 lakh. In the sports bike segment of the midweight class, Keeway RR 300 provides stiff design, sturdy hardware, and high performance—all at a highly competitive price.

Engine and Performance

RR 300 has a 292cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It has a power of 27.5 bhp at 8,750 rpm and torque of 25 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Coupled with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch, the motorcycle provides smoother downshifts and improved stability. The top speed of 139 km/h provides good performance for city and highway riding.

Chassis and Suspension

Mounted on a basinet trellis frame, the Keeway RR 300 receives USD forks up front and a preload-adjustable monoshock in the rear. The arrangement provides firm riding along with good corner handling. It also provides stability at high speed, offering riders added confidence for performance.

Braking and Tyres

For safety reasons, the motorcycle has disc brakes at both ends as well as dual-channel ABS. The vehicle travels on 110/70 R17 front and 140/60 R17 rear tyres, which offer an appropriate combination of grip and balance. The size of the tyres ensures stability and braking performance and is therefore an appropriate one for different road conditions.

Features Colour Options

The bike is equipped with a TFT instrument panel, full-LED lights, and an elegant Ride Rebel sticker below the tank. Keeway will be making this model available in three colour options—White, Black, and Red. Bookings have opened at Benelli and Keeway showrooms across India, with deliveries to follow by the end of July.

TVS Apache RR 310

TVS Apache RR 310 is another powerful contender in this category, which costs ₹2.77 lakh (ex-showroom). It has a 312.2cc BS6 engine producing 37.48 bhp and 29 Nm torque. It has a weight of 174 kg and a fuel capacity of 11 litres. The bike can be brought in three standard and three custom-built options, providing a good variety for performance seekers.
