Hyundai Palisade: South Korean carmaker Hyundai has introduced a new variant of the 7-seater SUV Palisade in its domestic market. The company has introduced the new trim level of this SUV in many global markets, which is placed above the base Exclusive trim and the earlier mid-spec Prestige trim.

Hyundai believes that the demand for this SUV in the South Korean market will be very high in the family SUV segment. Apart from the new Le Blanc trim, there are no real changes in the design, powertrain and features of the 2024 Hyundai Palisade.

Hyundai Palisade Features

Talking about features, then it gets 20” alloy wheels, higher-spec Michelin tyres, automatic tailgate, electrically adjustable front seats, natural leather seats, twin 12.3” digital display clusters for infotainment and instrumentation, wireless smartphone charger and Hyundai’s ADAS, The interior gets a Cool Grey colourway with contrasting black elements.

Talking about Engine, then  its power comes from an Atkinson-cycle 3.8-liter V6, dual CVVT, direct-injected engine, for excellent power and efficiency. This 3.8-liter powerplant produces an estimated 291 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm and an estimated 262 lb.-ft of torque @ 5,200 rpm.

Hyundai Palisade Safety Features

Talking about safety features, then PALISADE offers Hyundai’s HTRAC® All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) system, which adds Tow Mode. Tow Mode adjusts the towing powertrain profile, holding lower gears longer and reducing the frequency of shifting response. The HTRAC AWD system was developed as a multi-mode system, providing an electronic, variable-torque-split clutch, with active torque control between the front and rear axles.

Hyundai Palisade Price

Talking about price, then the Le Blanc trim is priced at KRW (South Korean won) 41.68 million (roughly Rs. 26.3 lakhs in India) and is now set to be the most value-for-money model in the variant lineup. The base Exclusive trim is priced at KRW 38.67 million (₹24.4 lakhs), while the Prestige is priced at KRW 45.9 million (₹28.95 lakhs) and the top-spec Calligraphy is priced at KRW 50.69 million (₹31.98 lakhs). All these prices include 3.5% tax.
