Hyundai Creta EV Launch Confirmed for January 17th at India Mobility Expo, Know Price

Hyundai Motor India has confirmed that it will launch the electric version of the new Creta during the India Mobility Expo on January 17, 2025, and it will compete with the Tata Curvv.ev, MG ZS EV, Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser EV.

The price of this vehicle will be revealed in the Expo itself. Creta EV will be offered in two battery pack options. This vehicle will get the feature of Digital Key, with the help of which it will be very easy to access the car. Hyundai has also released the final pictures of the new Creta.

Hyundai Creta Electric has been seen many times during testing. Its design will have a glimpse of the current Creta but some changes can also be seen in it. A new grille and new sharp head lamps are going to be seen in its front. The new Creta EV will get a Digital Key which will work as a smart feature and with its help it will be very easy to access the car.

According to the source, features like a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seat, keyless entry, rear AC vents, and wireless phone charger have been included in the Creta EV. For safety, features like ADAS, ABS, EBD, Hill Hold Assist, ESP, and six airbags can be given in the SUV.

Battery and range

Hyundai Creta EV will be brought with two battery packs, it will have a 51.4kWh battery pack and will give a range of 472km on a single charge, while it will get another 42kWh battery pack which will offer a range of 390km on a single charge.

With the help of DC charging, it will take 58 minutes to charge 10%-80%, while with the help of AC home charging, it will take 4 hours to charge 10%-100%. This car will take only 7.9 seconds to reach a speed of 0-100 km/h. The expected price of Creta EV can start from Rs. 20 lakhs.
