Platform
Let me tell you that Honda CB1000 GT and CB1000 Hornet are the same base platform, but GT is not just its copy version. According to leaked details, it has long-travel suspension, which gives better comfort in different road conditions. This feature will prove to be very helpful during long distance riding.

In addition, Rider and Pillion seats are made thick and comfortable. Rider’s footpegs are placed slightly forward so that fatigue is not felt in the long journey. At the same time, the footrests of the Pilion have also been re-positioned so that both passengers get enough space and comfort.
Design
The CB1000 GT’s look is more full of Hornet and visual mass. The cowl, fuel tank design, and reworked tail section on the radiator make it more stylish. Its frame is only of Hornet, but its sub-frame is slightly different so that more space can be given in the tail section. This has not only improved the design but also increased the storage capacity.
Performance
Talking about the engine, the Honda CB1000 GT uses the same 1000cc inline-four engine as the Hornet. This engine generates 150bhp of power, making it a great bike for highway touring.

In terms of design and features, it will be slightly longer, wider, and heavier, which will provide greater stability on long rides. It features a quick shifter and Nissin front brake calipers, both borrowed from the Hornet. These two features contribute to a smoother and more controlled riding experience.

Comfort
In the CB1000 GT, Honda has given better seating arrangements for both Rider and Pillion. Its thick seat cushioning, forward footpegs, and wide handlebars make it perfect for long journeys.
In addition, mounting points are given to place luggage panniers on the tail section of the bike. That is, bags or top boxes can be easily placed in long trips, making it a full-fledged touring motorcycle.
