One of the most anticipated models is the Hero Xtreme 250R, a new quarter-litre naked sport bike that is priced competitively at Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This motorcycle is powered by a cutting-edge 250 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers an impressive output of 29.58 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 25 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. This marks a significant performance upgrade, with an increase of 4 bhp and 5 Nm compared to the Karizma XMR’s 210cc engine. Hero MotoCorp claims that the Xtreme 250R can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in approximately 3 seconds, highlighting its impressive speed and agility.

In terms of aesthetics, the Xtreme 250R features a muscular yet compact design, which is enhanced by its shorter wheelbase compared to the Karizma XMR. The motorcycle’s aggressive styling is characterized by a well-defined fuel tank and striking body panels, making it particularly appealing to younger riders who seek a blend of performance and style.

Incorporating modern technology, the Hero Xtreme 250R is equipped with a 4.2-inch color TFT display that offers smartphone connectivity. This feature allows riders to access essential functions such as turn-by-turn navigation and message notifications, ensuring a connected riding experience. Additionally, a USB C-type charger is included as standard, catering to the needs of tech-savvy riders who rely on their devices while on the go.
