Design and Colors

The new Glamour X 125 also receives some design changes and is offered in five attractive colors: Matte Magnetic Silver, Candy Blazing Red, Metallic Nexus Blue, Black Teal Blue, and Pearl Black Red. The most significant styling change is seen on the bike’s tank, which now features a metallic Glamour badge and a large red ‘X’. This new design gives the bike a distinct and attractive identity from the Glamour Xtec and standard Glamour variants.

Features

In terms of features, this bike truly stands out from all its competitors. It features a color LCD console that supports smartphone connectivity. It offers features like call and SMS alerts, as well as turn-by-turn navigation. This console resembles the consoles used in bikes like the Hero Karizma XMR 210 and Hero Xtreme 250R. You can view real-time mileage readouts, distance traveled with remaining fuel, gear position indicator, and shift prompts. It also features automatic brightness adjustment.

Engine and Performance

The Hero Glamour X 125 is powered by the same engine as the Hero Xtreme 125R. This 125cc engine produces 11.55 PS of power and 10.5 Nm of torque, which is 0.8 PS more than the previous Glamour. The engine has been counterbalanced to reduce vibrations. It also features Hero’s i3S technology, which shuts down the engine during idling and restarts it as soon as the clutch is pressed. This improves the bike’s fuel economy. The bike’s seat height is 790mm, which is comfortable for most riders, and its fuel tank capacity is 10 liters.

Throttle

The bike features ride-by-wire throttle technology, allowing it to offer three different riding modes: Eco, Rain, and Power. These modes alter engine performance and modulate power delivery. Rain mode is especially useful when riding in heavy rain, as it delivers gentle power, helping prevent accidents. The bike also features a cruise control system, which will help reduce rider fatigue during highway riding. However, some argue that single-channel ABS should have been provided instead of cruise control, as it is more important for safety.
