Performance

This bike was equipped with a 313cc single-cylinder engine, which produced 33 hp power and 28 Nm torque. It was paired with a 6-speed gearbox, with the help of which this bike could complete the 0-100 kmph sprint in just 7.5 seconds. That is, in terms of performance, it was far ahead of the bikes of its segment.

Features and Safety

The BMW G 310 R had many advanced features, such as:

  • Full LED lighting that made night riding safer
  • Digital instrument cluster that displayed all the important information
  • Dual-channel ABS that helped in emergency braking
  • Adjustable brake and clutch levers that increased riding comfort

Reason

The platform of G 310 R was developed in partnership between BMW and TVS. Using this platform, TVS has built bikes like Apache RTR 310 and RR 310. Now there are rumours that BMW is planning to leave this platform and bring new models. It is possible that G 310 GS will also be removed from the website soon, as it is also built on the same platform.
