Mahindra is preparing to bring a fresh range of SUVs to India between 2025 and 2026. The lineup will include facelifts, all-electric models, and new-generation upgrades of popular vehicles. With a phased launch strategy, the company is focusing on modern design, advanced features, and electric mobility. Let’s look at the upcoming Mahindra SUVs set to hit the market soon.
Mahindra Thar Facelift
Mahindra will launch the Thar facelift on September 1, 2025. Inspired by the Thar Roxx, the SUV will receive a redesigned grille, bumpers, headlights, and tail lamps. Inside, the cabin will share several elements with the Roxx, such as the steering wheel and infotainment system. Engine options will remain unchanged with 1.5-litre diesel, 2.2-litre diesel, and 2.0-litre turbo petrol units.
Mahindra XEV 7e
Expected to debut by the end of 2025, the Mahindra XEV 7e will be India’s first mass-market 7-seater electric SUV. Based on the INGLO skateboard platform, it will share technology with the XEV 9e and BE 6. The XEV 7e will likely come with two battery pack choices: 59 kWh and 79 kWh, offering rear-wheel drive as standard.
New-Gen Mahindra Bolero
One of Mahindra’s most iconic SUVs, the Bolero, will enter a new generation in 2026. Built on the New Flexible Architecture (NFA) platform, the updated Bolero will retain its rugged, boxy character while adopting modern styling. Round headlights, robust bumpers, a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, and a refreshed rear profile will define its new look. Engine details are yet to be confirmed.
Mahindra XUV3XO EV
The Mahindra XUV3XO EV is expected to launch soon, competing with Tata Nexon EV and the upcoming Kia Syros EV. Internally codenamed S240, the SUV will likely use 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh battery packs from the XUV400 EV. It will feature premium equipment such as ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree parking camera, and more.
Mahindra XUV700 Facelift
Mahindra will also refresh its flagship SUV, the XUV700, in 2026. Likely to be called the XUV7XO, the updated model has already been spotted testing. It will feature revised exterior styling and a triple-screen setup inside the cabin. The SUV will continue with the familiar 2.2-litre mHawk diesel and 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engines, paired with manual and automatic gearbox options.
