All-New Toyota Hilux 2025 : Returning with a new generation is Toyota Hilux, which is recognized as the world’s most rugged, robust, and reliable pickup truck throughout its eight generations. New Generation Design

Now, the ninth generation of the Hilux will reportedly be exhibited at the Thailand Motor Expo, along with several changes to its design. The front grille is now taller and more robust. Assuming this new design will cause slimmer headlights with LED light strips, even the rear will have different taillights and wider wheel arches with stronger plastic cladding.

Its chassis will remain in the IMV ladder frame. However, new technologies, electric power steering, and driver assist systems will feature on board. Additionally, more premium materials will feature in the interior, as well as a totally new digital instrument console and larger infotainment screen.

 

Engine and Performance

The new Hilux will be attributed with a 2.8-litred diesel engine, which is said to produce 201 horsepower and mild hybrid technology in 48 volts. A plug-in hybrid is expected to launch in 2026.
