CFMoto 800MT: The new Explore Edition of the 800MT adventure touring model has been unveiled by CFMoto, a Chinese two-wheeler manufacturer. This variant comes with upgraded features compared to the older variants and the addition of radar-based blind spot detection, which was previously seen in the Ducati Multistrada V4.
Radar sensors on the 800MT Explore Edition are placed at the rear of the machine to detect vehicles entering the blind spot of the rider, with real-time alerts shown on the instrument cluster. As experienced in the Multistrada V4, this feature enhances lane-change safety considerably, especially in highway rides among fast-moving vehicles. Apart from that, an all-new eight-inch touch-sensitive TFT console featuring Bluetooth connectivity and voice control comprehensively equips the Explore Edition.

CFMoto 800MT Explore Engine and Performance
The LC8C engine of KTM fame offers power to the Explore Edition at an imposing 95 bhp and peak torque of 75 Nm. The engine specs remain unchanged with respect to the other versions, so that is a good balance of power for adventure touring and off-road explorations. Changes have been made concerning the traction control system; thus, it will allow smooth operation with less intervention for a very seamless riding experience.
Brakes and Off-Road
For the off-road purpose, the 800MT Explore Edition is fitted with Michelin dual-purpose tyres to offer good grip in all terrains. Stopping power is ensured by J Juan brakes, with 320 mm front and 260 mm rear disc diameters, providing efficient braking ability and boosting confidence on high-speed runs.
