The competition in the Indian electric two-wheeler market has intensified. While new companies like Ola and Ather dominated, now old and veteran companies like Honda and Suzuki have also entered the fray with their electric scooters. Honda has entered this segment with its brilliant Activa E, and Suzuki with E-Access. If you are also planning to buy a new electric scooter, then it is very important to know which of these two is better for you. Let’s compare these two scooters and know who is better than whom.

Who is stronger in design and look

The design of these two electric scooters is completely different. Honda Activa E is built on the body and chassis of its best-selling scooter, Activa. This means that you will get a familiar and reliable look. At the same time, Suzuki E-Access has been designed on a completely new platform. It has telescopic forks in the front and swingarm-type suspension at the rear. Both its wheels are 12-inch alloy wheels, and for braking, disc brakes are used in the front and drum brakes in the rear.

Who is ahead in range and battery

The biggest requirement of an electric scooter is its range.

Honda Activa E has two swappable batteries, so you can easily replace them when the battery runs out. The company claims that it can cover a distance of 102 kilometers in a single charge. It also has three riding modes – standard, sport, and econo.

Suzuki E-Access has a 3.07 kWh lithium-ion (LFP) battery, which is fixed. According to the company’s IDC claim, its range is 95 kilometers. Its top speed is 71 kilometers per hour. Its battery takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent, while it takes 6 hours and 42 minutes with a 240-watt portable charger. It also has three riding modes – Eco, Ride ‘A’, and Ride ‘B’ – and a reverse mode.
