Renault Triber: A brand new 7-seater vehicle is on the verge of changing the game. Tailored to suit Indian families, this new car promises a mix of style, comfort, and functionality—in an affordable price tag. With its anticipated functionalities and fresh design, it’s all set to rival some of the most sought-after family vehicles on the roads.

Launch Date

Renault is all ready to introduce the facelift version of Triber on 23rd July 2025. This vehicle is viewed as an immediate competitor to Maruti Ertiga, which presently reigns supreme in the 7-seater category. Triber has already established itself as the most economical 7-seater vehicle in India. With this new facelift, Renault is determined to regain its grip on the budget MPV segment.

Design Changes in Exterior

Spy images and teasers suggest major changes on the exterior. The new Triber could receive reworked LED DRLs, new headlamp designs, and a more prominent front bumper with fashion air intakes and relocated fog lamps. Side-on, look for new alloy wheel designs, and at the rear, possibly a new bumper and contemporary tail lamp styling, making the MPV look entirely new.

Engine and Performance Options

No significant updates are planned in the engine segment. The existing 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol unit with 72 hp and 96 Nm torque will probably stay. It will be offered with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT transmission. There is speculation regarding a more powerful 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit with 100 hp and 160 Nm torque, which may be offered with manual and CVT gearbox options. Renault has not announced this officially yet.

Interior and Features Update

On the inside, the design will remain largely the same, but Renault could provide marginal yet efficient updates. There may be new upholstery for the seats, a marginally modified dashboard design, and additional premium features. The additions anticipated are ambient lighting, an all-new digital driver’s instrument cluster, auto-dimming IRVM, 360-degree camera, cooling glovebox, and automatic headlamps, all of which will enhance the car to feel more premium and user-friendly.

Brand-New Logo Debut

In addition to the facelift, Renault is unveiling its new logo. This logo will adorn Triber as well as all future Renault cars. In comparison to the previous one, the new logo appears brighter and more contemporary, in line with the brand’s new identity and direction towards the future in terms of design.

Price Expectations

At present, the Renault Triber costs anywhere between ₹6.15 lakh to ₹8.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelift is bound to hike the price slightly. Even so, it will probably be the cheapest 7-seater car in India, retaining its favor for big families and cost-effective customers.
