The tremendous number indicates how buyers still have faith in the vehicles of Hyundai, particularly its SUV segment, which accounted alone for 67.6 percent of these domestic figures. Robust demand for all its models saw the company bounce back and report greater figures than in preceding months, indicating a consistent market presence.
Exports Performance and Quarterly Totals
In addition to local outcomes, Hyundai also exported 16,900 units in June 2025, taking its dispatches in the month to 60,924 units. Based on the first quarter of FY2026, Hyundai achieved a total sales volume of 1,80,399 units between domestic and global markets. The share of exports has moved up from 22.2 percent to 26.7 percent year-on-year, showing Hyundai’s growing global traction.
Contribution of SUVs
The consistent success of Hyundai’s SUV lineup remains a key pillar of its sales performance. Whether in urban markets or smaller towns, SUVs like the Creta, Venue, and Tucson are in high demand. This segment alone supported more than two-thirds of Hyundai’s domestic sales, confirming a strong preference among Indian buyers for the bold styling, space, and features these models deliver.
Future Plans and Production Updates
Hyundai continues to watch the market carefully, even as signs like repo rate cuts and cash reserve adjustments start improving liquidity. Meanwhile, Hyundai’s Talegaon plant is expected to soon help expand production capacity, making the distribution network stronger. These steps should support smoother deliveries and better supply of vehicles to dealers.
