2026 Toyota Hilux
According to the leaked images, the 2026 Hilux will get a completely new front fascia. It shows sleek headlamps, boxy grille and rugged front bumper (with skid plate). The wheel arches have been redesigned in a square shape with plastic cladding added. At the rear, the pickup bed has also been updated with new taillamps and integrated steps.

This model will not be all-new and will be built on the current-gen Hilux’s IMV ladder-frame platform, which is also used in cars like the Fortuner and Innova.
Interior
If we talk about its interior, till now Hilux has been known for its basic interior, but in the 2026 model Toyota has completely modernized it. Patent images show that it has
- Large floating touchscreen infotainment system
- Digital instrument cluster
- New centre console and gear selector
- Upgraded AC vents and storage space
This shows that Toyota now wants to position the Hilux as a premium vehicle and not just a rugged pickup.

Performance
The 2026 Hilux will be offered with an updated version of the existing 2.8-litre diesel engine, which can be equipped with 48V mild hybrid technology. In India, this engine produces 204 BHP of power and 500 Nm of torque without a hybrid system. However, if the hybrid variant is launched, its fuel efficiency and performance will be even better.
