Ather Rizta S Variant Details
Ather has introduced a new model in its Rizta series named Rizta S, which is equipped with a bigger 3.7 kWh battery pack. The battery was previously only available on the Rizta Z 3.7 kWh model. The Rizta S has an ex-showroom price of ₹1.37 lakh, and the smaller battery Rizta Z 2.9 kWh model is at ₹1.31 lakh.
This bigger battery pack in the Rizta S can give as much as 159 km on a full charge, the company says. Despite the larger battery, all the practical features making Rizta scooters family-friendly are unchanged. The idea is to give the consumers more range without lessening their comfort and convenience.
Storage and Warranty
The updated Ather Rizta S comes with a generous 34-litre under-seat storage compartment for daily stuff. If additional storage space is required, buyers can opt for the Frunk option, which adds another 22 litres of storage. The other key highlight is the company’s Ather Eight70 warranty scheme, which extends to 8 years or 80,000 km (whichever is earlier). The warranty ensures that the battery maintains a minimum of 70% health for the period covered.
Smart Features
Ather has added the Rizta S with a 7-inch DeepView display for turn-by-turn navigation. The scooter also features convenient safety features such as auto-hold, fall-safe, and emergency halt signal. Theft and tow alarms and Find My Scooter provide additional reassurance. Alexa voice assistant makes it easier to interact with the scooter.
Charging Network and Experience
The Rizta S can be charged from Ather’s high-speed charging network, which now stands at 3900 points in India. Charging points are available in many cities at several convenient locations. Riders also get the convenience of charging from home with Ather’s home charger, allowing them more freedom.
